Editorial

Welcome to the Autumn edition of WWM. We have another varied issue for you. Colin Hayman's article reflects the increasing interest in masculinity work within larger organisations. Mark Wood's and the research from the Joseph Rowntree Foundation look at men and violence. Another major piece of research recently completed is sifted through by Lisa Catan of the Trust For The Study of Adolescence for evidence of gender differences in communication particularly within families. Mark Peard describes an innovative way of getting fathers involved with their sons and Maureen Smith feels the force of literacy work with young boys. Finally we include our latest index so you know where to look for all those articles you wished you'd cut out and kept.

And finally an apology to Colin Holt for leaving his name off his article "Fathers And The Family Centre" in the last issue. Sorry. Colin works for the Lawrence Weston Centre which we also failed to mention is a Barnardos project!!
