This issue is of course the last of the year so, please remember to resubscribe. In an attempt to explore theory into practice, we have asked a number of experienced practitioners to reflect on books, publications and other materials that have had most impact on their developing practice. Mike Massaro and Simon Blake look at sexual health, Alan Richardson at work with fathers and David Wilkins at men's health. Similar pieces will appear in forthcoming issues of WWM, as we are keen to explore the impact that theory (and other writings) can have on developing practice. We have two further contributions following our Domestic Violence theme of 1999/2, one from Merseyside probation (detailing their perpetrators programme), and an anonymous contribution highlighting the problems of probation programmes, within the wider context of work with violent men. This issue also includes an article by Diane Sparkes describing her use of 'flour babies' within a boys' school, highlighting issues of care, fatherhood and relationships. We thank both Diane and CLPE for permission to reprint this excellent piece. Hopefully, you all had a great holiday and Millennium and we wish you all the best in your work for the coming year.
